OptiMate 4 Quad is a smart battery charger and maintainer designed for motorcycles, scooters, and vehicles using 12V lead-acid or Lithium LiFePO₄ batteries.
With advanced 9-step fully automatic charging technology, OptiMate 4 Quad sequentially handles every stage: initial diagnostics, recovery for weak batteries, optimized charging, voltage maintenance, and comprehensive battery health assessment. Beyond significantly extending battery lifespan, this charger protects sensitive vehicle electronics – delivering a complete, safe, and superior battery care experience for both individual users and professional garages.
O-04 Battery Clips

Used to connect directly to the two terminals of the battery. You can charge while the battery is still installed on the vehicle (just open the cover/seat to expose the terminals) or remove the battery if preferred.
O-01 Battery Lead

Permanently installed on the battery to create a quick charging point on the vehicle. For subsequent charges, simply plug the charger into the O-01 connector without having to directly access the battery terminals. This method is very convenient for periodic charging, maintaining the battery when the vehicle is used infrequently, or for vehicle models where the battery is hard to reach.
Step 1. Plug the charger into the AC power source
Step 2. Select the appropriate charging program
OptiMate 4 Quad has 4 charging programs. You need to choose the program based on the battery type (Lead-acid or Lithium LFP) and the method of connection (directly or via the DIN CAN-bus socket of BMW/Ducati/Triumph).
Program 1: Direct charging for Lead-acid batteries

Program 2: Charging Lead-acid batteries via the DIN CAN-bus port

Program 3: Direct charging for Lithium (LFP) batteries

Program 4: Charging Lithium (LFP) batteries via the DIN CAN-bus port

Step 3: Connect the charger

OptiMate automatically measures voltage to assess battery condition:
Recovery Stage (only occurs when the battery is weak or deeply discharged)
LED 3 lights up to indicate the battery is below optimal level or deeply discharged.

Depending on the battery type, the charger will automatically apply the appropriate recovery method:
Recovery time can last up to 2 hours, depending on the depth of discharge.
Main Charging Stage
During the main charge stage, OptiMate supplies the optimal charging current to bring the battery to full capacity:

Battery Retention Test Stage
After the battery is fully charged, OptiMate automatically pauses charging for about 30 minutes to check the battery's ability to hold charge:

The test results help users accurately assess battery condition to determine whether replacement or further electrical system checks are needed.
24/7 Maintenance Stage
After completing the test, OptiMate switches to maintenance mode to keep the battery full and stable for long periods.
OptiMate’s maintenance mode is completely safe for long-term use, even when you leave the charger connected overnight or when the vehicle is stored for extended periods — an ideal maintenance method for large motorcycles or vehicles that sit unused for long periods.
